Ashkan is an Entrepreneur, Strategist, Healthcare, and Technology business leader with 15+ years experience in new innovation models, enterprise implementation, and partnerships. His experience spans technology, consulting, venture capital, and healthcare working for Cisco Systems, BlackRock, Agenus (biotech), and a publicly traded VC firm Hercules Technology Growth Capital within the life sciences & technology group.
Prior to BCG DV, Ashkan started and ran multiple businesses acting as the CEO of a Venture Accelerator called IDEA, the CFO for a technology start-up called GHC (acquired by The Capital Network), and most recently the GM of Healthcare & Commercial Strategy for Mobiquity, a digital engagement provider, creating solutions for the Global 2000 with 9 offices worldwide and 200 clients (approximately 50% within healthcare practice) within the G2000.
During his tenure at Mobiquity he led the company through several acquisitions for global expansion, launched the first FDA-approved Digital Medicine System with Otsuka/Proteus, and formed new ventures such as Centros Health, CureForward, and BioPay.
He holds a B.S. and High-Tech MBA from Northeastern University; as well as completing an executive-education program from Harvard Kennedy School and MIT Sloan focused on Health Policy and Technology Commercialization.
